Rich, Belgian, Callebeaut Chocolate
Chocolate Swan provides Callebeaut Chocolate – the best Belgian Fountain chocolate available for use in the fountains. Chocolaterie Bernard Callebaut is internationally recognized for producing the best chocolate throughout the world. Callebaut chocolate is made from the highest quality cocoa beans available. The chocolate used is made from cocoa beans roasted to exact specifications from the Callebaut factory located in Wieze, Belgium. Callebaut offers the freshest, highest quality of chocolate available – vegetable oils, animal fats, and artificial additives are not used in order to reduce costs or extend the shelf life of chocolate. One taste, and the difference between Callebaut and common chocolate becomes clear.
If you choose to provide your own chocolate for the fountain, you’ll want to buy couverture chocolate. Coverture chocolate is a high quality chocolate that contains extra cocoa butter (32-39%). The higher percentage of cocoa butter, combined with the processing, gives the chocolate a creamy mellow flavor and allows the chocolate to flow through the fountain more elegantly.
You can request bittersweet, semisweet, milk, or white chocolate for your event. Chocolate Legacy can even order specially-tinted chocolate to make your event that much more memorable. A typical event for 100-125 guests would use approximately 10-13 lbs of chocolate. For larger events, additional quantities may be purchased, figure an additional 5-6 lbs of chocolate per 100 guests. In addition, return any unmelted chocolate and Chocolate Legacy will only charge for actual chocolate used at your event. See pricing for more information.
Have you noticed that chocolate is just about everywhere? The popularity of chocolate certainly is on the rise with the “heart healthy” science findings – and isn’t that great?! One of our very favorite foods is HEALTHY! Why, it even deserves its OWN food group!
There will be more to come on this page… but for now, take comfort in knowing that CHOCOLATE IS A VEGETABLE!
Chocolate is a Vegetable
Chocolate is derived from cocoa beans.
Bean = vegetable.
Sugar is derived from either sugar cane or sugar BEETS.
Both of them are plants, in the vegetable category. Thus, chocolate is avegetable.
To go one step further, chocolate candy bars also contain milk, which is dairy. Socandy bars are a health food.
Chocolate-covered raisins, cherries, orange slices and strawberries all count asfruit, so eat as many as you want.
Remember – – – “STRESSED” spelled backward is “DESSERTS”
